What is Da Dream Lab?
Da Dream Lab is a community space for children and adults located on the Windward side of Oahu. We offer a wide range of classes and events for the whole family, including art, science, cooking, and fun enrichment activities. We also host workshops and community events.

Where is Da Dream Lab located?
We are located in Kapaa Industrial Park at 905 Kalanianaole Hwy #3304, behind Traditions Coffee and close to Kailua Dance Academy.

What are your hours of operation?
For the Fall Semester, our hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday (special events not included). We are closed on Sundays but can be found at the Lokahi Kailua Market from 9 am to 1 pm

What age groups do you serve?
We primarily teach ages 3 to 12, but offer regular classes for up to 17 years old, and periodic classes for adults!

What is the Dream Chasers Membership?
The Dream Chasers Membership offers exclusive access to classes and programs at Da Dream Lab.

It includes:

***2 of any of our amazing classes a week!
***Discounts on camps, workshops, and special events
***Stay and Play access before and after class (30 minutes)
***Flexible cancellation options after the 3-month minimum commitment

Do you offer homeschool-friendly and neurodivergent-friendly classes?

Yes! All of our classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive for homeschoolers and neurodivergent students.

Can we drop in for a class, or should we book in advance?
Drop-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking at least a day in advance to secure your spot.

How long are the classes and what do we need to bring?
Regular classes run between 1 to 1.5 hours, workshops last 3 to 5 hours, and camps typically run from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. All supplies are included, so students only need to bring themselves!

How can I book a birthday party or special event at Da Dream Lab?
You can book parties and special events directly through our website!

What is your cancellation policy?

Can't attend? 2 options - 100% Credit (no expiration, transferable in some cases) or 50% Refund (7-14 days processing). Please reach out to us if your child is not enjoying the class, to see what we can do to make them more comfortable. Our number one rule is "Have Fun!"

Do parents need to stay during class?
We ask that parents do not stay in class unless otherwise specified by the program. Parents in the classroom stifle our students creativity.

Are there any skill requirements to attend classes?
No, all of our classes are designed for beginners and those with no prior experience.

What happens if my child misses a class?
If your child is not a member, please inform us so we can credit or transfer your class. We do not automatically make adjustments.

What behavior is expected in class?

At Da Dream Lab, we foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students can learn and create with confidence. We expect classroom-appropriate behavior at all times, which includes:

Kindness and respect: Students should treat their peers, instructors, and materials with respect. Encouraging and supporting each other is a key part of the creative process.
No bullying or disruptive behavior: We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, teasing, or any actions that disrupt the learning experience for others.
Friendship and collaboration: Our space is designed to be a community, and we encourage teamwork, sharing ideas, and working together to solve problems.
Positive vibes only: Maintaining a positive attitude and encouraging creativity in others is essential to building a great class environment.

By following these guidelines, we ensure that Da Dream Lab remains a safe, welcoming space for students to explore, learn, and grow!

What health and safety measures do you have in place?
We clean the playground weekly and sanitize bathrooms and common areas daily. All instructors are First Aid, CPR, and AED certified, and we have first aid kits in every room. We are also equipt with emergency supplies and anything we may need incase of unforeseen circumstances, like most schools.

Are your instructors certified?
Yes, all of our instructors undergo an intensive certification and vetting process to ensure they are fully equipped to provide a safe and enriching experience for

every student. Our certification process includes:

Specialized training in art, science, and Classroom managment:

Instructors are trained and certified in all subjects we teach, including hands-on techniques for both creative and scientific activities.

First Aid, CPR, and AED certification:

All instructors are required to be certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED to handle any potential emergencies that may arise.

Our lead instructor and Owner, Asia, has over 12 years of teaching experience in art and science education. She and our other certified instructors are committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences while ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in our care.

Do you offer sibling or military discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% sibling discount and a military discount upon request.

What is the Stay and Play program?
Stay and Play allows parents to drop off their kids to play on our 4-story playground, participate in crafts, and enjoy supervised activities before or after class. All memberships include 30 minutes of Stay and Play time.

How can I volunteer or intern at Da Dream Lab?
We offer volunteer opportunities during major events and internships for teens aged 16 and up. Please contact us directly for more information

Do you offer gift certificates or private lessons?
Yes, we offer both gift cards and private lessons. Private lessons are currently by request.

How can I stay informed about new programs and events?
If you are already one of our amazing students you are on our email list, where we send our regular emails about what is going on at Da Dream Lab! We also suggest that you follow us on social media to always see what we have going on!
